We Sages are inspired in supporting creativity and community. Since our first event in 2011, Last Minute Wishes, a Pop-Up Designer affair with Jewelry + Clothing + Art and Two Chocolate events in 2012, The Chocolate Invitational. Later fundraising for Global Tea Hut Community with several gatherings focusing on Tea Ceremony and culture (2012-2015).
We created Heart Space in 2015 as a way to share what we enjoy, bridging all our past events with Tea, Sound, Healing, Philosophy honoring practices in both Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine. We continue to evolve and grow these small events yearly and welcome ideas and collaborators along the way.
Heart Space gathering on Oct 16th 2016 at the Topanga Community Club was a warm and loving affair. In our second year there was more comfort and ease. We feel grateful for all the Sound Healers, Musicians, Tea people, Vendors, and beautiful community who supported our sweet little event.
We hope to continue to gather and grow this event in the coming years!!
Special Thanks to our sweet helpers, Shannon, Anthony, Richard, Melissa, Simon, Erin, Emily, Chad, Magen, Jessica, Kat, Alec, Roozbeh.

Artist+ Healers Biography
We are excited to introduce our Headliner, Musical performers, YAIMA, to our Topanga Canyon Community. This will be their first show In Los Angeles.
Helmed from Seattle and Orcas Island, Yaima has toured throughout the West Coast at various Music Festivals since their Debut Album, Pellucidity 2014.
YAIMA is an old word meaning "that which water runs through", Their sound is rooted in the the rich depth of tradition through biological beats, folkloric storytelling and mystical melodies. Yaima is a confluence of musicians: Pepper Proud, Masaru Higasa, and Jeff Kimes. Their live performances spin a narrative arc combining music, poetry, visual projections, dance, costume, and aerial performances, creating a multi-sensory journey that simultaneously arrests and moves the audience.

This deeply meditative ceremony includes distance healing and balancing through Icaros sacred medicine songs from the Peruvian Amazon . Following the healing spiritual guidance is offered, healing baths and life enhancing actions are prescribed for homework. Participants will be encouraged but not required to sing. The past healed, the path cleared, intentions set and seen to fruition."-- Mama Medicine

Sound Healing Alchemy 6:30-7:15 pm
Known as the Crow Talker, Gypsy Yogi Sound Healer Simon Ballard amongst many things uses sound vibration as a way to healer others.
He is a poet, musician and seasoned Yogi. Traveling this world with his laid back persona, humor and vibrant energy.
Simon has collaborated with us on many Tea and Sound journeys. He knows his elemental sound alchemy that pairs in perfect company with tea ceremony. You can find Simon in the South Bay, but ya never know when this crow will take flight. Kah-Ka!!.
Topanga local Magen Buse is a Flowerchild. She comes from the musical city of Austin Texas, and has traveled to many countries in search of artistic freedom at an early age. Not long before settling in Topanga Canyon, she resided in Venice Beach in a commune style home, formed a collective band called Flower Punks, and toured the West coast. Along the way she found inspiration shooting 35mm pics of beautiful imagery of her travels. Magen will sing a few songs for her Solo debut as Mage. Magen can be found managing the newbie food+market pit stop Topanga Living.

"It is in the spirit of sustainability that we teach about living in harmony with all of life on earth, working to heal ourselves, our families, communities, and Gaia. We practice mindfulness when we harvest our medicinal plants, re-planting endangered and over harvested medicinal plants that have been taken for profit, and teaching respect towards all living beings". -Gaia School of Healing and Education
