= intense stretch
It’s a New Moon in Cancer, and many of us are certainly feeling the watery element of this sign, emotions may run deep during this transition. To balance this prana energy, and stimulate manipura chakra (solar plexus center), This pose will help calm the mind, and hopefully the heart.
Understand there is so much intensity with our planetary forces, people are shifting. We are redefining what truly makes us happy, so be sure to take your heart space whenever possible.
Start by sitting on the floor with your legs together and straight out in front of you. Once here you lift your ribs slightly, tip your hips forward bringing your torso down toward your legs.
Now reach your hands towards your feet and bring your gaze towards your toes. Hold here for several breaths.
Make sure to adjust the stretching sensation in your hamstrings until you find what is comfortable and challenging to your sitting bones. Now use your breath to work, which will help improve your flexibility. Continue to move your torso slightly forward, breathing slowly and further into the pose.
