Sweet medicine once quoted "If you take from the earth, give something in return".
I’ve always thought of this while picking flowers. It makes so much sense... Doesn’t it? Mamma earth is so giving with her gems, healing us... Making us feel alive and free.
... with herbs, seeds, and prayer stones... She would sprinkle it on to the ground, while humming a tune and she walked past us.
In traditional North America, tribes would carry medicine pouches said to be filled with magical items and healing tinctures for their vision quest and prayers. They were often decorated with beadwork and made from the whole skin of an animal.
My beautifully hand stitched-beaded "eye" medicine pouch is my latest gem. Third eye, is the sixth chakra and the pineal gland, which helps us see clearly the mystery of space and time that awakens us.
Naama Givoni is a maven of the arts... Stitching and bead work is her medicine. You can find her work on her Blog, “Lovers Eat Shit” http://loverseatshit.com/
